Unmatched Optical Performance
DW-1070 Optical Properties
DW-1070 is a super-dispersed TiO2 masterbatch engineered for PVC applications. Benchmarked against the rutile reference sample TiO2(616S), DW-1070 delivers higher brightness (L), a cleaner bluer undertone (b), and a more neutral a-coordinate — a combination that is highly desirable for white PVC products requiring premium aesthetics.
Chart 01 · Color Coordinates
Undertone (a vs b)
Lower b → bluer undertone (preferred). a closer to 0 → more neutral. DW-1070 sits bluer and more neutral than the reference.
Chart 02 · L Value
Brightness
Higher L → brighter / whiter appearance. DW-1070 measures 88.70 vs the reference 88.63.
Chart 03 · Overall Optical Performance
Brightness × Undertone Map
A combined view of brightness and undertone. The upper-left region — brighter L and bluer b — is the most desirable position for premium white PVC. DW-1070 lands in that target zone.

Why DW-1070
Product Highlights
Superior Brightness
L = 88.70 outperforms the rutile reference (88.63), delivering a whiter, cleaner appearance in finished PVC parts — particularly valued in exterior profiles and films.
Cleaner Blue Undertone
b = −2.21 (vs −2.16) shifts the color further into the desirable blue region, avoiding the yellow cast that compromises perceived whiteness over time.
Super-Dispersion Advantage
The masterbatch format ensures uniform TiO2 distribution under standard high-shear processing, maximizing optical efficiency and minimizing pigment loading.
