Whiteness and high TiO₂ content lead the decision.

  • The application is injection molding, extrusion, ABS or PS.
  • The film or molded part has no printing requirement.
  • The project is evaluated on effective TiO₂ input and application performance.

Selection boundary

Not for every film or material system.

  • Not recommended when printing or heat-seal performance is required.
  • Not intended for biodegradable material systems.
  • Final addition level and economics must be verified in the customer’s actual formulation.

Processing reference

Set conditions around the target resin and equipment.

DW1085 should be evaluated as part of the complete molding or extrusion system, not by TiO₂ content alone.

Compatibility: Confirm the PE carrier is suitable for the target polymer and process.
Dosage: Establish through application testing rather than a fixed website percentage.
Output: Check whiteness, opacity, surface finish and required mechanical performance.
Economics: High TiO₂ content can reduce the masterbatch mass needed for the same TiO₂ input, but actual cost depends on the full formulation.
